3)Am I (individual
member) confirmed of a placement on completion
of training?
The training on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) is
an additional skilset for current web-programmers. We
don't assure you of any placement on completion of this
free training; however, we'll try to assist you. However
if you feel that you have enough exposure and would
be able to attend a technical interview you may forward
your resume to hrd@ezynes.com .
4)Am I eligible for
a certificate for attending the training session?
No, we don't issue certificates to the participants
of our training programmes.
5)What's the cost of
attending the training?
The training sessions are provided entirely free by
our main sponsors, 'eZynes Communications Pvt Ltd.'

6)Will I be provided
hands-on experience?
No, our training does not offer practical sessions.
However, since it is offered to experienced web-programmers,
this is not an issue. Some participants have been requesting
for it, and we are trying to put up on the Notice Board,
names of any Institutes that offer such hands-on training
for a fee.
7)As a member, what
can one expect from “PHP Circle meet”?
It is conducted once every month, normally on the third
Sundays. We publish the date in our site and email invitations.
PHP Circle provides a platform for the experienced professionals
to clarify the technical doubts of other members. One
highlight is a monthly lecture by experienced professionals
in this field.
8)How do I become a
member of this PHP Circle? Do the members pay
any subscription fee?
Please fill in the application form available at the
PHP Circle Office. There is no fee to become a member.
9)Does PHP circle offer
any other core curriculum courses?
No, at the moment, we don't offer courses in other core
curriculum. Anything we do will be to promote the PHP
usage.
10)If I were to miss
a training session, is there any way the session can
be
compensated for?
Since the course is offered free and lasts only 4 sessions,
kindly make sure that you do not miss any of them. If
you miss attending one session, you will miss 25%!
11)Is there an examination
at the end of the course?
No, there are no examination or test during/ after the
training. You are your own examiner.
12)What education
and training are required to become a professional
PHP programmer?
There is no specific level of education required to
become a professional PHP programmer. However, most
companies these days prefer a candidate with Engineering
or master's degree in CS over another with only bachelor's
degree.
13)How do I submit
articles/ messages to PHP Circle Newsletter?
Send your contributions as an email to info@phpcircle.org
with the subject line: 'Article to Newsletter', 'Letter
to the Editor', etc. Never send attachments. If you
want to send pictures, load them somewhere and send
us the URL. Please contact us in case you have any difficulties
in uploading attachments.
14)How can a company
submit requests for manpower?
Send an email to info@phpcircle.org with
a) how many programmers you need,
b) what are the skillsets and experience required,
c) on what terms do you need them – contract placement,
or regular employment,
d) what will their designations be,
e) what will their salaries (CTC) obe,
f) where will be the placement (Location),
g) particulars of your company,
h) any other relevant details.

15)If my requirement
is just for a very short time, how will it be processed?
If you need a programmer only for a few hours, we will
display your request on our
a) Notice Board at the Venue of PHP circle and
b) Web site of PHP circle
16)what does Contract
placement mean?
Contract Placement: A skilled programmer works for a
limited time in a medium/ large software organization
(normally) on contract basis. The association ends when
the contract ends. The contract period will be the duration
for which the software is built. The advantage is, being
able to to work in a larger Company where the recruitment
norms are strict, and being able to add that experience
in the larger Company to your resume.
